Djuret (The Animal)

This nose-to-tail concept restaurant in Stockholm showcases a fully handcrafted interior designed to highlight the culinary philosophy of serving one animal at a time. The space balances warmth and intimacy with striking, curated details: lighting crafted from old meat mincers, sculptural elk horns, taxidermy deer, and still-life oil paintings of various raw meats. Every element is designed to draw the eye and tell a story, creating a rich, layered environment that feels at once homey and extraordinary, celebrating the craft of cooking through the craft of design. Nearly two decades later, its details and warmth still resonate today.
