JEANETTE DIDON
Jeanette Didon, is an acclaimed and passionate Creative director & Hospitality Designer, experienced with nearly two decades of creating restaurant designs. With a Fine Arts degree in Interior Architecture & Furniture Design from the prestigious Stockholm Art University Konstfack, she is multifaceted and accomplished in creating the complete Artistic & Aesthetic Vision and Design Concepts as well as planning the logistics, details and the very functionality of an interior.
THE PRACTICE: Didon’s career took flight as she designed bars and Michelin Starred restaurants for renowned hospitality groups in Stockholm. Her Hospitality Designs & Unique Interior Concepts instantly earned international recognition and boosted new compelling and dynamic opportunities.
After assisting New York art director Jason Volenec with spatial design, she began collaborating with mentors and Hospitality Legends Serge Becker and Matt Abramcyk on various restaurant projects. This to further hone her skills and cultivate her dedication to dynamic & sustainable hospitality design.
Skills that lead to a position as Design Director at Tribeca based Hospitality group Neighborhood Projects, as well as head of the Interior Design department at SoHo branding firm Safari Sundays.
THE STUDIO: Building on her international experience and collaborations with industry leaders, Didon founded her own design studio, BYBLACK. And for a decade, with a portfolio encompassing over 20 restaurant interiors, spanning over multiple countries, her creative studio continues specializing in crafting unique, unforgettable hospitality spaces. Spaces that attracts a global following of guests and receiving acclaim from prestigious publications and social media.
