Jeanette Didon, a Swedish interior architect and hospitality designer, has spent nearly 20 years shaping exceptional restaurants, bars, and nightlife venues worldwide. She began her career in Stockholm, before her design vision found its place on the global hospitality scene, earning recognition for her concept-driven, immersive work.
Her work on the Michelin-starred Ekstedt earned her the “Swedish Restaurant Interior of the Year" from the Swedish Hospitality Awards, and international acclaim when Zagat ranked the restaurant #2 in their “10 Hottest Places in the World” list.
Building on years of international experience and collaborations with some of the hospitality world’s most influential figures, including Serge Becker, Matthew Abramchyk, and Steven Starr, Jeanette founded studio BYBLACK NYC, bringing her own signature vision to concept-driven, unforgettable interiors.
Over the past decade, her studio has designed more than 20 distinctive venues, attracting a global following and earning recognition from prestigious publications. Her designs have been celebrated as the most Instagrammable restaurants by Vogue Living, Coveteur, and Architectural Digest.
